Q: what type of events can the restaurants within the Tryst Trading Company accommodate?

A: Our restaurant group has a wide range of spaces, in different neighborhoods in DC, which can be used for private events. Our spaces are perfect for any type of event. From happy hours and birthday celebrations to intimate rehearsal dinners or weddings. We also have spaces that work for your business meetings or celebrations, such as holiday parties.


Q: Do you provide off-site catering?

A: Our catering and bakery departments can provide a wide range of menu options delivered to your office or professional setting. We offer full coffee service as well as boxed lunches.


q: What side events can you accommodate?

A: We are fortunate to have 6 locations that can be booked for groups ranging in size from 10 to 75 people. We will work with you to pick the best location for your event depending on the size and scale of the event you are hosting.


Q: Can you accommodate groups that are larger than 75 people?

A: We offer full restaurant buyouts on a limited basis depending on availability, the size, and scale of the event.


Q: Do you charge a rental fee?

A: For some locations we do charge a rental fee based on the requirements of the organization in which the restaurant or cafe is located. For most of our locations we do not charge a rental fee but rather have food and beverage minimum requirements,


Q: Do you charge gratuity automatically?

A: For all events we have a dedicated service team that will be working directly with your group. A 10% tax, plus 20% gratuity will be added to the final bill.


Q: Can I have a live band or DJ during the event? 

A: We do have locations where a live band can be booked as well as a DJ. The cost of the band or DJ would be the responsibility of the host.
